DESCRIPTION:
2004 Alfa Romeo 156 Sportswagon Ti 1.9 JTD 16V M-Jet (facelift model) manual.
Very rare Sportswagon Ti, they must be out there somewhere but I have never seen another one (estate + Ti).
Ti spec is the top sport spec, it has the same spec as a Veloce, but with the Ti extra's.
From memory these are: Ti 17" wheels, Ti front sports leather Recaro seats, various badges & trim.
Pearlescent (+ metallic) blue paint looks lovely in the sun (colour "Blu Chiaia Di Luna").
The condition and appearance of the car are consistent with it's age and mileage, except where stated.

Regarding functional faults - please bear in mind these points are not always listed in adverts on Autotrader
and other car sales sites (even if the seller is technically minded or actually aware of them).

GOOD:
x. Solid & eager diesel engine with plenty of torque (1.9 JTD 16V M-Jet), while retaining good mpg.
x. Ti spec leather sports seats & 17" alloys.
x. x2 brand new front tyres, Event WL 905 (has Uniroyal Rainsport 2 on the back).
x. Boot modesty cover & floor tray included.
x. Uprated front component speakers (MTX THS652) + Blaupunkt CD player (Seattle CD72).

BAD:
x. (cosmetic) Car park dent & crease (approx. 6 inches) on N/S/F (front, passenger side) door (see pictures).
x. (cosmetic) Car park scrape to O/S/R (rear, drivers side) plastic bumper (see pictures).
x. (cosmetic) Alloy wheel kerbing & paint deteriorating (see pictures).
x. (cosmetic) Heavy stone chip damage to front bumper (touched up with paint pen) & grill plastic chrome finish bubbling (see pictures).
x. (functional) Air conditioning needs re-gas (possible leak, haven't used for approx 1 year).
x. (functional) Recent uneven tyre wear on rear tyres, investigate rear suspension and/or wheel alignment.
x. (functional) N/S/R (rear, passenger side) electric window mechanism not working & switch disconnected (failed a few days ago).
x. (functional) Very slight buckle in both rear wheels, no vibration (noted when a buckle was professionally removed from a front wheel that had been causing mild vibration).

NOTES:
x. Supplied with 2 sets of keys (original remote keyfobs).
x. Purchased car for £6,000 in Sept 2009 (with 53k on the clock), spent £6,750 to date, so hasn't been cheaply maintained.

x. Supplied with a spare brand new boxed set of front pads.
x. All original manuals & log book supplied.
x. The insurance has recently expired for the car, so arrangements would need to be made for a test drive.
x. The cambelt failed just after I bought the car, it was fully repaired (just a couple of cracked rockers, not like on a petrol...) & serviced by the Alfa specialists. Was given a full bill of clean health and has never put a foot wrong since. Non-issue, but please ask if you want more info.
