Description:
Alfa Romeo 156 Veloce 2.0 JTS 2002 Metallic Gabbiano Blue £650 Stotfold, Beds 95,647 miles Very clean car in really nice condition for the age. It has 2 working remote key fobs. Bodywork is very good, no rust with just a few dinks and scratches here and there as you would expect in a car of this age. There is a light crease/dent in the boot lid where I managed to reverse into the wheelie bin! I have tried to show all these significant points in the photos. The housing around the passenger side front fog light is damaged (see photo) but fog light still works. The floorpan was Waxolyd by Autolusso in September 2016. Wheels are 16” Teledials refurbished in September 2013 and still in nice condition. The tyres are Toyo Proxes T1 fitted in September 2016 so very little wear. Interior is really clean and very good condition. Slight signs of wear on the driver seat material where you slide in and out of the seat, again shown in the photos. It has original Alfa floor mats fitted. The upholstery is grey fabric. The Infocentre display works although it has the common fault of a very dim display when it is warm. It has an XCarLink Adapter that allows MP3 to be played on the stereo via SD card. MOT to 4 March 2018. The last MOT had the following advisories: Suspension arm ball joint dust cover deteriorated, but preventing the ingress of dirt offside front upper Suspension arm ball joint dust cover damaged, but preventing the ingress of dirt nearside front lower Exhaust has minor leak of exhaust gases
The car has some service history prior to me buying it in 2009 and subsequently it has been serviced every year at either Firela, Autolusso or Alfa Workshop. The last service was carried out at Alfa Workshop in November 2016 at 93,433 miles. There is a slight engine oil leak that Alfa Workshop have been investigating, the last work done on the car was to replace the rocker cover as this had a slight crack in it, but there does still seem to be a slight leak from some other source. They did fix a coolant leak by replacing the plastic pipe across the front of the engine that commonly splits. There were a number of advisories on the invoice from Alfa Workshop and you can see this here http://live.alfaworkshop.co.uk/synergy/inv_printing.php?inv_id=40549&vid=9129. I will include in the sale an original Alfa Romeo 156 roof rack (not fitted). |
