Description:
Here we have my Alfa Romeo 159 Sportwagon Ti in metallic black, which I have owned since 2016. Current mileage is 98380. MOT due Feb 2025 (all advisories have been done). Reason for sale is I have bought a new car and can't justify running both. Lots of history (mainly Alfa Romeo specialists). Usual Ti refinements including Bose sound system, black leather interior and 19" Ti alloys (in reasonable condition but a refurb would be required to be mint) and Michelin Pilot Sport tyres all round (Pilot Sport 5's on the from and Pilot Sport 4's on the rear) Unmolested car apart from the following necessary upgrades: - Swirl Flap delete, EGR delete (blanked off and mapped out), Sports DPF (effectively a dummy DPF designed for track use - been through 9 MOT's without any issue). Upgraded Xenon headlamps (MOT compliant), with colour matched bulbs for high beam and sidelights. Eibach springs and Bilstein B4 dampers (to replace the notorious for cracking Ti springs and harsh dampers). Upgraded Pioneer AVIC-F77DAB head unit (with Sat Nav, DAB radio, Android Auto, Apple Car Play and reversing camera). Brake upgrade - drilled and grooved disks with EBC yellow stuff pads front and rear. Usual small age related marks (inside and bodywork) and some lacquer peel. I've not had any of this fixed, to keep the car honest looking. Lots of service history, always using OEM parts (or better if available), including: Last service 98000 miles - Correct Selenia oil, Gates cambelt and pully kit, all other belts and tensioners, upgraded INA water pump (metal impeller and larger heavy duty bearing), UFI fuel filter, carbon pollen filter, BERU glow plugs, K&N panel filter. Since my ownership it's had a new clutch and dual mass flywheel (genuine Alfa Romeo parts, fitted by Autolusso and Redline MTL gearbox oil). Lower front wishbones (TRW with poweflex bushes fitted), upper front arms (upgraded Meyle HD arms), upgraded battery, genuine Denso alternator (due to power steering pipe leaking on original), genuine power steering pipe and correct fluid), refurbished turbo. Plus many other items. The bad bits (all cars have them) - a couple of small dings in the bodywork (from people open doors on it in the supermarket car park),the rear wiper has just stopped working (the shaft rusts and seizes) - I'll have a look and see if it just needs cleaning and re-greasing), and the bonnet release catch in the grill has snapped (a very common issue, you can still easily open the bonnet, it's just the lever isn't quite as long as when it was new). I think that's about it for the bad bits. It had a removable towbar on when I bought it (the previous owner put his bikes on a tow bar mounted bike rack) but I've lost the tow hook. It's been regularly rust proofed and just been Lanoguarded. Any test drive (with insurance) or inspection welcome. Vehicle is located in Kendal, South Cumbria Any questions, please ask. |
