Reluctantly selling my 1999 Alfa Romeo GTV, 3 litre V6 due to incompatibility with current family transport requirements. Rare eclipse grey car (not the more common meteor grey) with original Aero kit, 17" teledials and black leather interior. 4 owners since new, current owner has had vehicle since 2008. 133,000 miles but well maintained with full service history. All work since 2008 has been undertaken by Jamie Porter at the Alfa Workshop. Recently fitted with new radiator, oil cooler, air flow meter and clutch slave cylinder. Suspension and brake components have been replaced as advised over recent years. Cam belt and followers changed 49,000 miles ago. Michelin Pilot Sport 3 tyres fitted all round. Current MOT runs until Dec 2015. Clean, honest car that has not been messed around and is still in original spec. The combination of the performance of the V6 and the Italian styling puts a smile on my face each time I drive it. -----
Now the bits that others don't tell you ... There is a dent in the nearside rear quarter panel just in front of the rear wheel, inflicted by a car park pillar that crept up on me. This is visible in the photos provided and I have priced the car sensibly to allow the next owner to sort this if they wish. The extending aerial on the radio has stopped working, so currently the in car entertainment is limited to the CD player or iPod (Apple cable routed to cubby hole under arm rest). However, the in car entertainment system is significantly better than standard with a high end Pioneer unit fitted with clean lines that complement the interior. The sunroof currently doesn't open under the force of the motor. It will open if pressed by hand and then the motor happily does it job. This is due to a swollen seal that I have not got around to having replaced as it doesn't leak and I rarely open the sunroof. Being a 1999 car the VED is based on engine size rather than emissions class, so despite being a 3 litre V6 it is a relatively affordable £230/year, rather than the £505/year charged on identical GTVs registered after March 2001.
----- Car is supplied with all three original keys, folder of service history, original owners manual and toolkit. A spare part worn Pilot Sport 3 tyre will also be included as will a CD with the official GTV Technical Assistance Manual and a DVD with the ePER spare parts catalogue.
